Hosted Web-Based Ticketing System Solution Needed

Background
The University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) is seeking proposals for a hosted, web-based turn-key ticketing solution that integrates existing technologies and supports future growth. The goal is to create a system that provides intuitive end-user training, robust reporting tools, integrated CRM capabilities with real-time third-party interfacing, and mobile responsiveness. The vendor must have at least five years of experience and a proven track record with similar implementations. The solution must comply with UNCSA and North Carolina state financial and data processing regulations.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of a comprehensive ticketing system that includes the following features:

1. Ability for UNCSA to create and manage events/performances, venues, and price maps without vendor intervention.
2. Support for purchases via Internet, Mobile, Walk-up, and Telephone sales.
3. Capability to offer Reserved Seat, General Admission, and Timed Entrance tickets.
4. A user-friendly interface for ticket agents to select seats with visual aids such as color-coded price zones.
5. Compliance with ADA requirements for online sales.
6. Dynamic pricing capabilities.
7. Options for 'Pay What You Wish' tickets and donation solicitation during ticket purchases.
8. Integration capabilities with existing systems like Ellucian Banner Ethos and Raiser's Edge for CRM functions.
9. Reporting tools for data mining and manipulation of sales data to inform marketing strategies.
10. Mobile responsive design or app availability.
11. Ability to issue complimentary tickets in conjunction with paid tickets.
12. Subscription management features including fixed, pick-your-own, and flex subscriptions.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be three years starting from the date of final contract execution or April 1, 2026, whichever is later. The Go-Live date is targeted for July 1, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be an established ticketing software business with a minimum of five years in operation prior to the RFP release date. They must have at least five similar systems installed in environments comparable in size and scope to UNCSA's needs.
