Glenwood-Creston Drainage Rehabilitation and Infrastructure Upgrade Project

Background
The Glenwood-Creston Drainage Rehabilitation and Infrastructure Upgrade Project is initiated by the City of Raleigh. It aims to improve drainage systems to enhance urban infrastructure and mitigate flooding risks. The project involves extensive rehabilitation and replacement of drainage pipes, ensuring the integrity and functionality of the city's stormwater management systems.

Work Details
The contract includes approximately 1100 linear feet of pipe rehabilitation using UV Glass Reinforced Pipe (GRP) Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining, pipe replacement, injection grouting, soil stabilization, drainage structure rehabilitation, paving, and traffic control. Specific tasks include:
- Mobilization of equipment and personnel.
- Site preparation including clearing and grubbing, selective tree removal, and removal of existing pavement structures.
- Installation of new drainage structures such as concrete catch basins and junction boxes.
- Rehabilitation of existing drainage pipes through UV GRP CIPP lining techniques.
- Traffic control measures to ensure safety during construction activities.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence with a Notice to Proceed anticipated around June 2025. The work must be substantially completed within 480 calendar days from the start date, with final payment readiness within 540 calendar days.

Place of Performance
The project will take place in the Glenwood-Creston area of Raleigh, North Carolina.
