Background
The City of Raleigh (COR), the capital city of North Carolina, is seeking proposals for generator maintenance and annual load bank testing services. The city is known for its rapid growth, strong economy, and commitment to sustainability.

The Facilities and Operations division within the Engineering Services Department is responsible for maintaining city buildings and critical systems. This contract aims to ensure that generators at various city locations are well-maintained to support essential services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide maintenance and repair services for generators located at sites identified in Appendix VI. Services include:
1. Quarterly Technical Inspections (Level 1) - Three inspections per year per generator, including oil and coolant sampling, operational tests, and checks on various systems (fuel, lubrication, air induction, etc.).
2. Annual Maintenance and Inspection (Level 2) - One inspection per year including oil changes, filter replacements, battery checks, and operational tests.
3. Annual Load Bank Testing - One load bank test per year during the first quarter for each generator.
4. Triennial Replacement of belts, hoses, coolant, and air filters during the first year of the contract.
5. Emergency response services with a guaranteed two-hour response time for repairs.

Period of Performance
The contract term is expected to be five years starting from the execution date of the contract.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations throughout the City of Raleigh as specified in Appendix VI.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must be licensed and registered with the State of North Carolina and provide validation of training by generator manufacturers. They must have a minimum of five years' experience with similar systems and maintain an active North Carolina Electrical License throughout the contract duration.
