Full-Service Auction Services (Vehicles and Equipment)

Background
The City/County Purchasing department is seeking proposals for Full-Service Auction Services specifically for vehicles and equipment. The goal of this contract is to facilitate the auctioning of city/county-owned vehicles and equipment, ensuring a streamlined process that meets the needs of the agency.

Work Details
The contractor will provide full-service auction services which include but are not limited to: organizing, marketing, and conducting auctions for vehicles and equipment owned by the city/county. The contractor must ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and provide a comprehensive plan for auction execution.

The proposal should detail the methods of auctioning, including online platforms if applicable, as well as strategies for maximizing revenue from sales.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to continue until all vehicles and equipment have been auctioned. Proposals are due by 12:00 PM on June 4, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the jurisdiction of the City/County where the vehicles and equipment are located.

Bidder Requirements
There is a 10% M/WBE requirement for this service contract. Bidders may self-perform the entire contract without subcontractors or subconsultants but must submit Affidavit ‘B’ from the M/WBE section if they choose to do so.

Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria beyond just price, focusing on the overall quality and completeness of the proposal.
