Frozen Desserts Supply for School Cafeterias

Background
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education (CMBE) aims to purchase Ice Cream and Frozen Fruit Products from a qualified vendor to comply with Federal regulations and State statutes. These products will be served in cafeterias during school lunches for students of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS). The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Specific Contract.

Work Details
The contract involves the supply of Ice Cream and Frozen Fruit Products, which must meet the specifications outlined in Attachment A: Pricing. The successful vendor will be required to deliver these products in compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations. The contract may include provisions for price adjustments based on market conditions, as well as requirements for product quality, inspection, and delivery standards.

Period of Performance
The contract term is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. CMBE has the option to renew the contract for up to three additional one-year terms at its discretion.

Place of Performance
The geographic location for performance is primarily within Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools' cafeterias.
