Fleming Loop Park Turfgrass Renovation Project

Background
The Town of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the 2025 Fleming Loop Park Turfgrass Renovation Project. The project aims to enhance the playing surface at Fleming Loop Park, which spans 16 acres, by performing deep tine aeration and top dressing. This initiative aligns with the Town's commitment to maintaining high-quality recreational facilities for its community.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Providing equipment and materials necessary for project completion in compliance with all requirements.
2. Sweeping cores and relocating waste onsite.
3. Top-dressing fields with a minimum of ½ inch of double washed sand.
4. Utilizing a PTO-driven deep-tine aerator with a tine depth capability of 10 inches or more, and tines spaced no more than 6 inches apart.
5. Complying with Town Standards and all contract requirements, including maintaining a project schedule for all required work, material acquisition, delivery, permitting, and inspection requirements.
6. Flagging all irrigation heads and valve boxes in the project area prior to deep tine aeration; any irrigation damage must be repaired by the contractor at their expense.
7. Ensuring that all materials, hardware, tools, and power are provided by the contractor to complete the project with turnkey workmanship.
8. Field verifying all measurements and details before commencing work.

Period of Performance
The contractor is required to complete the project within 30 days following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) by the Town.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Fleming Loop Park located at 503 Fleming Loop Road, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a North Carolina General Contractors License or NC Landscape Contractor License if their bid exceeds $40,000 and provide a copy with their bid submission.
