Five-Year Fire Sprinkler System Inspection and Obstruction Investigation Services at DAC Central Prison

Background
The Department of Adult Corrections in North Carolina is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive inspection services for fire sprinkler systems at the Central Prison. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and operational integrity of 32 sprinkler systems through a Five-Year Obstruction Investigation and a Five-Year Internal Inspection. This initiative aligns with the agency's mission to maintain secure and safe correctional facilities.

Work Details
The vendor will be responsible for conducting a Five-Year Obstruction Investigation and a Five-Year Internal Inspection for 32 fire sprinkler systems located throughout the DAC Central Prison. The services must adhere to the specifications outlined in Section 5.1 of the Invitation for Bid (IFB). This includes thorough inspections to identify any obstructions that may impede functionality, as well as internal inspections to assess their condition and compliance with safety standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of one year, beginning on the date of final contract execution, with potential extensions based on performance and mutual agreement.
