Work Details
The awarded contractor shall provide services for Fire Safety Systems Inspections at the Raleigh Convention Center and Martin Marietta Center for Performing Arts.
The services include annual inspections of portable fire extinguishers, semi-annual inspections of kitchen fire suppression systems, annual inspections of automatic sprinkler systems, annual backflow preventer certification, annual fire hydrant inspection, annual post indicator valve inspection, repairs as needed.
Additionally, the contractor is responsible for parking arrangements for their staff as it will not be provided by the City.

Period of Performance
The contract shall have an initial term of 3 years from the Effective Date with an option for renewal for up to 2 additional one-year terms. The City also reserves the right to extend a contract term for a period of up to 180 days in 90-day-or-less increments.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Raleigh Convention Center located at 500 S. Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC 27601 and Martin Marietta Center for Performing Arts located at 2 E. South St., Raleigh, NC. 27601.
