Fence Replacement Project at Western Union Elementary School

Background
Union County Public Schools (UCPS) is seeking quotes for the Fence Replacement Project at Western Union Elementary School.
The goal of this project is to replace the existing fencing to enhance security and safety around the school premises.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Remove and dispose of approximately 1,500 feet of existing fencing.
- Install approximately 2,200 feet of new black fencing that is 6 feet tall, utilizing Schedule 40 piping with 9 gauge fabric.
- Install two 16-foot gates (8 feet on either side) equipped with lockable hardware.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and must be completed within a specified number of consecutive calendar days as indicated in the bid proposal.

The project will be performed at Western Union Elementary School located at 4111 Western Union School Rd., Waxhaw, NC 28173.
