Eradication of Zebra Mussels Project - Lake Norman Quarry

Background
The State of North Carolina, Wildlife Resources Commission (hereinafter referred to as the COMMISSION) has issued this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purpose of establishing a contract with one or more Vendors for the Eradication Zebra Mussels Project from Lake Norman Quarry, as described in 5.2 Tasks/Deliverables, located in Iredell County, North Carolina. In September 2023, the first zebra mussel population was confirmed in North Carolina. The location of the species is in Lake Norman Quarry, a privately owned, 13-acre recreational dive quarry, with a maximum depth of 98ft. This property is owned and managed by The Piedmont Diving and Rescue Association.
