Elevator Upgrade and Repair Services at NC Wildlife Resources Commission Headquarters

Background
The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC) is seeking to establish a contract for the upgrade and repair of three elevators at their headquarters located at 1751 Varsity Drive, Raleigh, NC 27606. The elevators require upgrades due to the obsolescence of their door operator components, which are no longer in production.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the elevators are functional and meet current operational standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for upgrading and repairing three elevators (left, right, and freight) at the NC Wildlife Resources Commission Headquarters. The specific tasks include:
1. Installation of four upgraded door operator packages with all necessary components and lubricants sourced from TK Elevator, the manufacturer of the elevators. This upgrade will replace the existing door operator boards with an upgraded, non-proprietary LD-16 door operator package.
2. Provision of labor to replace/install the new door operators on all three elevators.
3. Testing of the elevators for proper operation post-repair before returning them to normal service.
4. Estimated downtime for each elevator during repairs is 3 to 4 days, including all necessary inspections and permits from NCDOL in the proposal.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed during normal business hours, specifically Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

All work will be performed at the NC Wildlife Resources Commission Headquarters located at 1751 Varsity Drive, Raleigh, NC 27606.
