Elevated Storage Tank Repair and Recoating Project

Background
The City of Laurinburg is seeking bids for Contract 18.0 – Elevated Storage Tank Improvements, which involves the repair and recoating of two elevated storage tanks, clean and paint valve piping, repair grout at foundations, and all appurtenances. The project is part of the water facilities improvement and is located in Laurinburg, North Carolina.

Work Details
The Project consists of repair and recoating of two elevated storage tanks, clean and paint valve piping, repair grout at foundations, and all appurtenances.
The tanks included are the Caledonia Road tank (750,000 gallons) and the 401 South tank (500,000 gallons).
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract on a lump sum or unit price basis.
Prospective bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at Willis Engineers in Charlotte, North Carolina or at City Hall in Laurinburg.
The Issuing Office for Bidding Documents is Duncan Parnell.
A pre-bid conference will be held remotely via Zoom Video Conferencing on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

Period of Performance
The proposed start date for the work is Spring/Summer of 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Laurinburg, North Carolina.
