Background
The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) is the largest school district in North Carolina and the 15th largest in the United States, currently operating 203 schools. The Instructional Services Department is seeking proposals for a comprehensive digital learning solution aimed at supporting credit recovery, objective recovery, first-time credit attainment for North Carolina courses, and standardized test preparation for grades 6–12. Work Details
The vendor will provide a district-wide license for all middle and high school CTE teachers and students for a duration of 12 months with unlimited student enrollments per course. The solution must support multiple instructional models including:
- Credit Recovery Courses (aligned with NC standards)
- Objective/Standard Recovery Modules (embedded or standalone)
- First-Time Credit Courses (NC high school and selected middle school courses)
- Test Preparation Modules (EOG, EOC, PSAT, SAT, ACT, PACT)
The vendor must also provide flexibility in implementation models such as self-paced learning, teacher-led instruction, blended learning environments, summer school, and after-school programs. Reporting tools for tracking mastery and proficiency are required along with implementation support and professional development.
Period of Performance
The contract will be performed immediately upon award with an initial term of one year. WCPSS reserves the right to extend the award for two additional one-year terms at its discretion.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be licensed to do business in North Carolina and demonstrate prior experience partnering with districts of comparable size.
