Construction of North Property Rail Storage Yard: Earthwork and Track Installation Project

Background
The North Carolina State Ports Authority (NCSPA) is issuing a solicitation for the construction of the North Property Rail Storage Yard Project.

The project aims to enhance the rail infrastructure to support the agency's mission of facilitating maritime commerce and improving transportation efficiency in North Carolina.

Work Details
The work includes, but is not limited to:
1. Erosion Control;
2. Clearing and Grubbing;
3. Earthwork, including unclassified excavation, embankment, undercut, and surcharge as shown on the project drawings;
4. Drainage installations as shown on the project drawings;
5. Construction of a Triple Cell Culvert and Wingwall;
6. Rail Roadbed construction;
7. Track construction;
8. Grade Crossing construction;
9. Lining and Surfacing existing track.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from the award date until completion, with bids due by February 27, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the North Property Rail Storage Yard located at 2202 Burnett Boulevard, Wilmington, NC 28401.
