Cold Patch

Background
The City of Winston-Salem is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the procurement of Cold Patch asphalt. This initiative aims to support the city's infrastructure maintenance and development efforts. The City is committed to ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The contract will be awarded based on the lowest responsible bidder, considering quality and performance.

Work Details
The successful bidder will provide a total of 400 tons of Cold Patch asphalt, divided into two items: 200 tons of Winter Mix Cold Patch Asphalt and 200 tons of Summer Mix Cold Patch Asphalt. Bidders must submit prices per ton for each type. All products must meet the specifications outlined in the bid request, which includes detailed specifications for the Cold Patch asphalt.

The City reserves the right to purchase more or less than the quantities listed during the contract period. The product must be new and unused, conforming to all applicable requirements.

Period of Performance
The bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m. on February 17, 2025. The contract will commence upon award and will last for a duration as specified in the final agreement.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to the City of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
