Child Nutrition Management Software Solution

Background
The Caldwell County Schools Child Nutrition Department is seeking proposals for a Child Nutrition Management Software Solution. This software will support the department's mission to provide efficient and effective nutrition services to students. The goal of the contract is to implement a comprehensive software solution that enhances the management of child nutrition programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Work Details
The software must include the following features:

- Point of Sale (both front and back of house)
- Student Eligibility tracking
- Menu Planning capabilities
- Web Menus
- Digital Signage
- Inventory management
- Production Records compliant with state-approved variance
- An Online payment system for tracking student meal purchases and free/reduced lunch eligibility
- Financial reporting features such as General Ledger, Income Statement, Trial Balance, and Revenue Summary.

The software must be fully compatible with Infinite Campus for real-time or scheduled synchronization of student data (including Student ID, name, grade level, teacher name, parent email, parent name, and address) via SQL-based queries and APIs. Additionally, it should allow exporting financial account information for import into LINQ Financial. Remote Support Services and training for Central Office staff, Cafeteria Managers, and Cafeteria Assistants are also required. The solution must comply with federal and state regulations for school nutrition programs across 21 schools, a central warehouse, a catering site, and 35 POS lines.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from the date of award until completion of all deliverables as specified in the proposal.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within Caldwell County Schools in Lenoir, North Carolina.
