Cemetery Expansions Project for North Carolina State Veterans Cemeteries

Background
The NC Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is seeking design services for the North Carolina State Veterans Cemetery Expansions at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, and Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. The agency intends to select one designer to provide design, bidding, construction administration, and closeout services for all three projects in accordance with NC State Construction Office standards and requirements.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the installation of 2,780 new Crypts and 1,070 Cremation Burial Spaces at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake, NC. Additionally, it involves the installation of 460 new Columbarium Niches at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery located in Goldsboro, NC, and 700 new Columbarium Niches at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, NC.

Period of Performance
The closing date for submission is Tuesday – June 11, 2024 @ 4:00 PM.
The project is expected to be completed by May 21, 2024.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake, NC; Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC; and Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, NC.
