A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held Thursday June 19th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Public Works Building Conference Room, located at 5227 US HWY 15-501 in Carthage, NC.The work consists of the construction of 6 different waterlines including approximately 48,490 LF of 6 PVC waterline, approximately 1,130 LF 4 PVC waterline, and approximately 751 LF of 2 waterline, with hydrant assemblies, blow-off assemblies, and appurtenances.At said place and time, and promptly thereafter, all Bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud. All Bids must be in accordance with the Bid Documents on file with the Moore County Public Utilities at their offices located at 5227 US HWY 15-501 in Carthage, NC and at the office of MBD Consulting Engineers, P.A., Consulting Engineers, P.O. Box 1215, Southern Pines, NC 28388. A copy of the Bid Documents may be obtained from the Engineers at the address stipulated above upon payment of $150.00 for each complete set of documents. The County of Moore is seeking bids for the construction of waterline extensions along Carthage Road and Dowd Road.
