Carrier Air Cooled Chiller Replacement and Startup for Wake County Public Schools

Background
The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) is the largest school district in North Carolina and the 15th largest in the United States, serving approximately 161,000 students across 203 schools.
The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to obtain pricing for and select a qualified vendor to furnish, deliver, and startup two types of chillers: a Carrier 448 Ton Air Cooled Screw Chiller and a Carrier 179 Ton Air Cooled Scroll Chiller.

Work Details
The contract requires the vendor to provide the following equipment:
1. One (1) 448 Ton Air Cooled Screw Chiller, specifically the Carrier model 30XV450S.
2. Two (2) 179 Ton Air Cooled Scroll Chillers, specifically the Carrier model 30RC-1826S.
The vendor must also include freight/shipping charges and weekend startup services as part of their proposal.
Each bid must be accompanied by complete descriptive literature and specification sheets necessary for thorough evaluation.

Period of Performance
Delivery of the chillers must be completed within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days after receipt of the purchase order.

Place of Performance
The delivery location is Wake County Public School System, Central Receiving, Building F, 1551 Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh, NC 27610.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be authorized dealers or distributors of Carrier equipment and provide a signed statement from the manufacturer confirming this authorization with their bid response.
Additionally, vendors must comply with all applicable laws and regulations including E-Verify compliance for employees.
