Campus Elevator Replacements, Renovations, and Upgrades

Background
The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNC Greensboro) is seeking qualified licensed professionals for the project titled 'Campus Elevator Replacements, Renovations, and Upgrades.' The goal of this contract is to repair, replace, and/or add elevators in five campus buildings to enhance accessibility and functionality.

Work Details
The professional services required include full design and assessment of existing conditions, as well as construction services for the installation and operation of elevators. The specific elevators involved in this project are:
- Coleman HHP #1: 4 Stop Elevator Modernization with all required support systems and utilities.
- Coleman HHP #2: 7 Stop Elevator Modernization with all required support systems and utilities.
- Ferguson Building: 3 Stop Elevator Modernization with all required support systems and utilities.
- Graham Building: 4 Stop Elevator within a new Building Addition, requiring coordination with existing architectural materials and style.
- MHRA Building: 4 Stop New Elevator within an existing vacant elevator shaft. The design must also include code-required features, cloud-based systems, car emergency signaling, and communication devices.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from the date of award until the completion of the project, with letters of interest due by September 19, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations on the UNC Greensboro campus.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must be licensed in the State of North Carolina to offer architectural or engineering services in response to this solicitation.
