Bid for Nursing Simulation Lab Recording System Procurement

Background
The State of North Carolina, through Central Carolina Community College, is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 86-2025-010 to procure a simulation recording system for the Nursing clinical simulation labs.
The goal is to enhance clinical training and assessment by obtaining a high-quality recording system that supports video recording, playback, and live streaming.

Work Details
The contract requires the vendor to provide an on-premises server-based simulation recording system with the following specifications:
- Furnish and install an on-premises server with a minimum storage capacity of 4 TB for video recordings.
- Equip three Nursing simulation labs and their associated control rooms with a simulation recording system that includes:
- Two cameras per lab (one must be a pan-tilt-zoom camera).
- One microphone for audio recording.
- An intercom system for communication between the lab and control room.
- Equip one Nursing skills lab with a mobile simulation recording system that includes:
- A mobile ergonomic cart with a PTZ camera and microphone.
- Support for both wired (Ethernet) and wireless (Wi-Fi) connections.
- A compact design for easy movement between beds to record student activity.

Technical requirements include all cameras recording at a minimum resolution of 1080p and the ability to integrate real-time manikin vital signs. The vendor must also ensure compliance with electrical and network specifications as outlined in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The contract work must be completed no later than June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The installation will take place at Harnett Health Sciences Center, located at 51 Red Mulberry Way, Lillington, NC 27546.
