Background
The City of Winston-Salem is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the procurement of batteries. The goal is to supply various types of batteries to meet the operational needs of the city. The contract aims to ensure that the city has a reliable source of batteries for its equipment and services.

Work Details
The successful bidder will provide the following items:

1. 1635 Size 'C' Duracell Procell Industrial #PC1400 - Quantity: 1635 Each
2. 1635 Size 'D' Duracell Procell Industrial #PC1300 - Quantity: 1635 Each
3. 2020 Size '9 Volt' Duracell Procell Industrial #PC1604 - Quantity: 2020 Each
4. 13862 Size 'AA' Duracell Procell Industrial #PC1500 - Quantity: 13862 Each
5. 7240 Size 'AAA' Duracell Procell Industrial #PC2400 - Quantity: 7240 Each

The total bid will include all items listed above, with prices to be provided by the bidder.

Period of Performance
The contract period for supplying batteries will run from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, with the possibility of extending for up to two additional twelve-month periods.

Place of Performance
The delivery location for the batteries will be at the City of Winston-Salem Central Warehouse.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). They must also certify that they are not on the North Carolina State Treasurer’s list of persons engaging in business activities in Iran or companies engaged in a boycott of Israel. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to utilize local contractors and subcontractors from the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County area.
