Background
Region 4 Education Service Center (Region 4 ESC) is an education service center established by the Texas Legislature in 1967 to assist school districts and charter schools in improving efficiency.
Region 4 serves a seven-county area comprised of 47 public school districts and 43 open-enrollment charter schools, representing more than 1.2 million students, 110,000 educators, and 1,500 campuses.
The goal of this contract is to provide Automotive and Large Vehicle Solutions, Parts, Supplies, and Services to enhance operational efficiency through cooperative purchasing.
Work Details
The awarded contractor(s) will provide a comprehensive range of products and services for light and heavy-duty fleet vehicles including but not limited to:
- Accessories (Interior & Exterior)
- Air Conditioning
- After Market Parts
- Battery & Accessories
- Belts, Hoses & Fittings
- Body & Trim
- Brakes
- Bus & Fleet Parts
- Engine Parts & Mounts
- Exhaust systems
- Lighting & Electrical components
- Oil & Fluids
- Suspension & Steering parts.
Additional services include Battery Testing, Maintenance/Repair Services, Mobile On-Site Emergency Services, and Fluid Recycling. The contractor must also ensure timely technical support and customer service.
Period of Performance
The anticipated full term of the contract is five (5) years with the possibility of renewal for up to two (2) additional years.
Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations as determined by Region 4 ESC and Participating Public Agencies across the United States.
Bidder Requirements
Offerors must comply with all federal requirements applicable to funding situations including FEMA Special Conditions. Proposals must be for new materials and equipment currently in production. Offerors are encouraged to submit a total catalog or balance of line offering. The proposal should include any required exceptions or deviations from the terms outlined in the RFP.
