Work Details
The contractor will provide automated pavement condition data collection services, which include:
- Initial calibration verification;
- Automated data collection of pavement distress data and optional inventory data from right-of-way (ROW) video;
- Data quality management.
The survey will utilize a profiler and/or an automated 3D Laser Crack Measurement System (LCMS) to collect data on approximately 1160 miles of local roads. Data collection will include high-resolution digital images taken at intervals of 20 feet or less. The collected data must be delivered in tabular format with GIS identifiers and must adhere to the specifications outlined in the City of Raleigh Data Dictionary.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon signing and is expected to last a minimum of three years, with two optional one-year renewals. The preferred timeline for data collection is from March 2026 to August 2026.

The services will be performed within the City of Raleigh, North Carolina, covering local roads throughout the city.
