Athletics Field Upgrade and LED Lighting System Engineering and Design Services

Background
Southeastern Community College (SCC) is seeking qualified firms in North Carolina to provide engineering and design services for an athletics field upgrade. The goal of this contract is to enhance the safety and functionality of the college's baseball and softball fields through various renovations.

Work Details
The selected firm will be responsible for engineering, designing, bidding, and administering the construction of improvements that include:

- Upgrading lighting and electrical systems
- Renovating dugouts
- Installing new fencing
- Enhancing utilities
- Grading the field
- Ensuring ADA accessibility
- Updating signage

Additionally, the existing concessions near the softball field will be relocated. The firm must also handle design-related permit submissions and approvals as well as construction administration.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to commence following the selection process and will continue through the completion of the project, with a total project budget of $1,200,000.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Southeastern Community College's main campus located at 4564 Chadbourn Hwy, Whiteville, NC 28472.
