Arborist Services for Tree Removal, Trimming, and Stump Grinding in Raleigh, NC

Background
The Department of Administration, on behalf of the Facility Management Division, is seeking to contract with a qualified Vendor to perform arborist services including tree removal, tree trimming, and stump grinding in Raleigh, NC on an as-needed basis.

The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Specific Contract.

Work Details
The Vendor will provide arborist services that include:
1) Tree Removal - using trained personnel and current arboricultural practices;
2) Tree Trimming - employing the three-cut pruning method;
3) Stump Grinding - grinding stumps to a minimum of 6 inches below grade.

All work must be performed within a five-mile radius of specified locations in Wake County. The Vendor is responsible for debris removal and ensuring all employees follow OSHA standards. Emergency operations may require the Vendor to respond within six hours of notification.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is one year beginning November 1, 2025, with options for two additional one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in Raleigh, NC, specifically within a five-mile radius from the Downtown Raleigh Complex, Garner Road Complex, and Blue Ridge Road Complex.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered in good standing with North Carolina's eProcurement system. They are required to submit references for similar services provided and comply with HUB participation goals.

Vendors must also certify financial stability and may need to undergo background checks for personnel performing services.
