24-06 Banks Road Park Baseball Field (Re-advertisement)

Background
The Town of Fuquay-Varina is seeking sealed bids for the construction of a new baseball field as part of the Town's Capital Improvement Project #24-06.
The project aims to enhance recreational facilities within the community, aligning with the Town's mission to provide quality public services and improve community infrastructure.

Work Details
The project scope includes all labor, materials, and incidental items required for the construction of a new baseball field.
This encompasses site preparation, grading, installation of the playing field, and any additional components necessary to complete the project.
All work must adhere to project specifications and applicable drawings. Contractors are responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment.
Any work not explicitly identified but required to complete the project shall be considered incidental and will not be paid for separately.

Period of Performance
The contract work is to be finally and fully completed within 150 consecutive calendar days from the commencement date recorded on the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Banks Road Park in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must hold the appropriate license classification as required by North Carolina General Statutes and submit proof of an active license if awarded the contract.
A certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than 5% of the bid is required.
A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each valued at 100% of the contract price, will also be required.
Bidders must make a good faith effort to comply with HUB requirements.
