Work Details
The contractor will provide uniformed/unarmed/armed security officer services at the following locations:

Services include:
a) Entry and access control processes;
b) Checking individuals at site perimeters;
c) Conducting interior checks of rooms and hallways;
d) Identifying contraband;
e) Familiarity with assigned facilities;
f) Operating communication equipment;
g) Theft detection and prevention;
h) Responding to alarms and disruptive events;
i) Operating screening devices;
j) Providing support for county meetings/events;
k) Customer service duties.
The contractor must maintain documentation of officer training and qualifications, ensure all officers are uniformed while on duty, and provide a local point of contact for the County.
Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and will continue as specified in the proposal documents. Services are required during normal business hours Monday through Friday, as well as during special events.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Wayne County Courthouse located at 224 East Walnut Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530 and the Wayne DHHS Building located at 1560 Clingman St, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience providing armed and unarmed security services. They must be licensed to perform these services in North Carolina.
