2025 Southeast Regional Wwtp Expansion Bathymetric Survey Of Lagoons

Background
The Onslow Water and Sewer Authority (ONWASA) is seeking proposals for a Bathymetric Survey of Lagoons at the North Topsail Wastewater Treatment Plant. This initiative aims to enhance the wastewater treatment facilities and ensure compliance with engineering standards. The contract will require the successful contractor to provide all necessary permits, materials, equipment, and labor for the project.

Work Details
The scope of work includes conducting a bathymetric survey of three infiltration lagoons and two infiltration basins at the North Topsail Wastewater Treatment Plant. The survey must adhere to standards set by the North Carolina Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors, using GPS RTK methods for site control and underwater echo sounding methods for locating water bottoms.

Data collection will involve linear cross-sectional formats with manual depth checks to ensure accuracy within 0.40 feet. Deliverables include a topographic map with 1'-2' contours in hard copy and AutoCAD 2024 Civil 3D format, signed and sealed by a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in North Carolina.

Period of Performance
Work is to commence within seven calendar days from receipt of a Notice to Proceed and must be completed within 30 calendar days from that date.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at ONWASA’s North Topsail Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 1095 State Highway 210, Sneads Ferry, NC 28460.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must be NC Certified HUB Contractors. Performance and Payment Bonds are required for this project, and subcontracting is not permitted.
