Swlo Call When Needed

Background
The Southwest Land Office (SWLO) is issuing a limited solicitation for road maintenance, forest improvement, and HCP compliance services utilizing heavy equipment on its lands. The goal of this contract is to secure equipment or services on a call-when-needed basis to perform various tasks that support the agency's mission of land management and environmental stewardship.

Work Details
The contractor will provide services including but not limited to:

- Construction of fire lines
- Support for prescribed burns
- Restoration, maintenance, and repair of roads
- Occasional construction and reconstruction projects
- Smaller brush piling and scarification projects.

Projects will be located within the administrative boundaries of the Missoula Unit, Clearwater Unit, Hamilton Unit, and Anaconda Unit. Specific project locations will be determined at the time a need arises and a Task Order is issued. The following commodity codes are relevant to the services required: 0609 (Building Maintenance - Services), 1624 (Environmental Services - Weed Spraying), 2101 (Forest Related Services - Bridge Repair), 2103 (Dozer Piling), 2104 (Excavator Piling), 2105 (Logging/Cutting/Thinning), 2107 (Road Brushing), 2108 (Road Maintenance), 2111 (Timber Marking/Cruising).

Period of Performance
The contract will be open from March 20, 2025, until April 21, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed on lands managed by the Southwest Land Office in Montana, specifically within the administrative boundaries of the Missoula Unit, Clearwater Unit, Hamilton Unit, Anaconda Unit, and at the SWLO main office building.
