Statewide Rural Needs Planning Study

Background
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish a contract for a Statewide Rural Needs Planning Study.

The goal of the contract is to develop a comprehensive evaluation of the rural transit needs of Montana, aligning with MDT's mission to enhance transportation services across the state.

Work Details
The contractor will provide professional planning services aimed at evaluating rural transit needs in Montana.

A detailed scope of services is provided in the Buyer Attachments, which outlines specific tasks and deliverables expected from the contractor.

The proposal must include an itemized project budget that details costs for each task, number of hours for each staff member, hourly rates, fringe benefits, overhead rates, and all other direct and indirect costs.

Additionally, recommendations for enhancements or additional services should be represented separately.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to commence upon award and will continue until the completion of the project as outlined in the proposal.

The close date for submissions is set for October 11, 2024.

The services will be performed within the state of Montana.
