Background
The Montana Department of Transportation, through the State Procurement Services Division, is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the provision of Pre-Cast Box Culverts. The goal of this contract is to procure specific types of concrete box culverts necessary for transportation infrastructure projects within the state.
Work Details
The contractor will provide the following Pre-Cast Box Culverts:
1. 136 units of Concrete Box Culvert measuring 24 Feet x 10 Feet (span x rise) to be delivered to MDT – Belgrade Maintenance Site, located at 22129 Frontage RD, Belgrade, MT 59714. Contact: Cody Johnston (406-570-2758) two business days prior to delivery.
2. 228 units of Concrete Box Culvert measuring 14 Feet x 10 Feet (span x rise) to be delivered to MDT – Lincoln Pit Maintenance Site, located at 7410 North Montana Ave., Helena, MT 59601. Contact: Mike Day (406-444-6399 or 406-431-1828) two business days prior to delivery.
Bidders must include their delivery fee in their bid.
Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by January 9, 2026.
Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to two locations in Montana: Belgrade and Helena.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must accept the single point of contact for this IFB and comply with all specifications and requirements outlined in the solicitation. Bidders are required to review detailed drawings and specifications attached to the IFB. Additionally, they must confirm compliance with nondiscrimination laws regarding firearms entities as per MCA provisions.
