Background
The Montana Department of Transportation, through the State Procurement Services Division, is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to procure Pre-Cast Box Culverts. The goal of this contract is to provide essential infrastructure components that support transportation and road construction projects in Montana.
Work Details
The contractor will be required to supply the following Pre-Cast Box Culverts:
1. Concrete Box Culvert 24 Feet x 10 Feet - Quantity: 136 Each
- Delivery Location: MDT – Belgrade Maintenance Site, 22129 Frontage RD, Belgrade, MT 59714
- Contact: Cody Johnston (406-570-2758) two business days prior to delivery.
2. Concrete Box Culvert 14 Feet x 10 Feet - Quantity: 228 Each
- Delivery Location: MDT – Lincoln Pit Maintenance Site, 7410 North Montana Ave., Helena, MT 59601
- Contact: Mike Day (406-444-6399 or 406-431-1828) two business days prior to delivery.
Bidders must include their delivery fee in their proposal.
Period of Performance
The contract period begins upon award and extends until all products are delivered by November 24, 2025.
Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to the MDT – Belgrade Maintenance Site in Belgrade, MT and the MDT – Lincoln Pit Maintenance Site in Helena, MT.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must accept the single point of contact for this IFB and comply with all specifications and requirements outlined in the solicitation. Additionally, bidders must review detailed drawings and accept the State of Montana standards identified herein. There are no specific set-aside certifications mentioned.
