Overlay Exit 282 Mill and West Central Avenue Great Falls Area

Background
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is issuing an Invitation for Bid for the overlay project at Exit 282 Mill and West Central Avenue in the Great Falls Area.
The goal of this contract is to enhance transportation infrastructure through pavement preservation services, ensuring safer and more efficient travel for the public.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Mobilization (1 Lump Sum)
2. Provide 850 tons of 3/4" Commercial Plant Mix Grade S 58H-34
3. Perform cold milling with an average depth of 0.15' over an estimated area of 8,850 square yards
4. Supply Type 1 Chips for an estimated area of 9,000 square yards
5. Provide 7 tons of Liquid Emulsified Asphalt Grade CRS-2P
6. Implement traffic control measures (1 Lump Sum).
All quantities are estimates.

Period of Performance
The contract work is scheduled to commence after the bid closing date on March 24, 2025, with specific timelines to be determined during contract negotiation.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Exit 282 Mill and West Central Avenue in Great Falls, Montana.
