MSU Bozeman Cab & Chassis

Background
Montana State University (MSU) - Bozeman is seeking bids for the procurement of a new Cab & Chassis. The university's mission includes providing necessary vehicles to support its operations. This contract aims to fulfill that need by acquiring a vehicle that meets specific weight and regulatory requirements.

Work Details
The contract involves supplying (1) new Cab & Chassis with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) between 14,000 lbs to 17,500 lbs. The vehicle must be from the model year 2024 or newer and comply with all Federal and State of Montana regulations and specifications. Bidders can propose either a gas or diesel engine option, with MSU reserving the right to choose based on the bids received. Delivery costs to the university must be included in the bid. Bidders are required to use eMACS for submitting their bids and can offer bids for one or both engine types.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is from the bid opening date on August 8, 2025, until the closing date on August 22, 2025. Delivery of the vehicle is expected by October 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The delivery location for the Cab & Chassis will be Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a current W-9 form and company name used on invoices. They must also provide a complete remit-to address for payments if it differs from the W-9 address. Additionally, bidders need to confirm they can meet all specifications listed in the buyer attachment section and register in SmartBuyMSU if awarded the contract. MSU will only purchase one vehicle from this IFB.
