GNA Frozen Moose East PCT Mastication Project

Background
The GNA Frozen Moose East PCT Mastication Project is a solicitation by the DNRC (Department of Natural Resources and Conservation) seeking a contractor to perform mechanical pre-commercial thinning of conifer trees less than 7 inches DBH and taller than 2 feet in height with mastication equipment. The project is located on the Flathead National Forest approximately 40 miles north of Columbia Falls, MT off the North Fork Road and Tepee Creek Road (USFS #9899).

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform mechanical pre-commercial thinning of conifer trees less than 7 inches DBH and taller than 2 feet in height with mastication equipment. The project consists of seven individual treatment units totaling 246 acres located within Sections 1 & 2, T.36N. R. 22W.

Period of Performance
The solicitation opens on 7/10/2024 at 10:00 AM MDT and closes on 7/31/2024 at 2:00 PM MDT.

Place of Performance
The project is located on the Flathead National Forest approximately 40 miles north of Columbia Falls, MT off the North Fork Road and Tepee Creek Road (USFS #9899).
