Blacktail Creek Restoration Project - NRDP Contract 700190

Background
The State of Montana Natural Resource Damage Program is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for construction services related to the Blacktail Creek Restoration Project. The goal of this contract is to restore the ecological integrity of Blacktail Creek through various construction activities, aligning with the agency's mission to manage and restore natural resources affected by environmental damage.

Work Details
The work consists of the following tasks: construction of step pools, providing and installing a fish screen, construction of irrigation structures, installation of riprap, grading/excavation, and seeding.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from the release date on June 27, 2025, with a closing date for bids on July 31, 2025. The exact period of performance will be defined in the awarded contract following bid acceptance.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Blacktail Creek in Montana. A mandatory walk-through is scheduled at 510 East Park Street, Butte, MT 59701.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including acknowledgment of compliance with a 1% gross receipts tax withholding. They must complete and upload required forms such as the Information Required of Bidders form and Bid Form. Bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid items is required. Acceptable forms include a bid bond or cash equivalents drawn from federally or state-chartered banks.
