2025 or Newer Water Truck Package

Background
The Cascade County Public Works Department is seeking sealed bids for the purchase of one (1) 2025 or newer diesel-powered 6 x 4 tandem axle truck.
The goal of this contract is to acquire a vehicle that meets specific operational requirements for public works projects in Cascade County, Montana.

Work Details
The contract involves supplying one (1) 2025 or newer diesel-powered 6 x 4 tandem axle truck with the following specifications:
- Must include a 4000-gallon water tank and a cab and chassis.
- Preapproved models include Kenworth T480, Peterbilt 567, Western Star 49X, Freightliner 114SD, or equivalent.
- The truck must meet OSHA requirements and specifications on the date of bid opening.
- Delivery shall be F.O.B. Cascade County Shop at Great Falls, Montana.
- The successful bidder must provide one operator’s manual for each truck delivered and a total of one set of service, parts, and technical repair manuals for the specific truck model purchased.
- Bidders must specify delivery dates and include warranty information with their bids.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed upon award and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe as determined by the delivery date agreed upon in the bid.

Place of Performance
The performance will take place at the Cascade County Shop located in Great Falls, Montana.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond payable to Cascade County equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid price for the truck.
All bidders are required to comply with applicable state and federal laws regarding nondiscrimination and must complete an affidavit of non-collusion.
