Terry Road Pavement Improvement Project

Requested Work (Scope of Contract):
The Terry Road Pavement Improvement Project involves a total project length of 0.768 miles. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to:

• Cold milling and paving operations
• Base repair
• Leveling
• Trench widening
• Thermoplastic traffic striping
• Installation of reflective raised markers
• Placement of roadway signage

This general outline does not limit the contractor's responsibility to perform all required work and furnish all necessary plant, labor, equipment, and materials as specified in the contract documents and drawings.

Requesting Entity:
The City of Byram, located in Hinds County, Mississippi, is requesting bids for this project.

Background:
This solicitation is for Federal Aid Project No. STP-7286-00(007)LPA/109771/701000. The project is part of ongoing efforts to improve road infrastructure within the city.

Contract Requirements:
Bidders are directed to the Contract Provisions regarding the selection and employment of labor. Minimum wage rates for Federal-Aid projects are predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and are subject to the Public Law 87-581 Work Hours Act of 1962, as detailed in the Contract Provisions.

Submission Instructions:
Bids must be received no later than 2:00 p.m., Local Time, on July 7, 2026, at the City Hall of Byram, 5901 Terry Road, Byram, Mississippi. All bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at McMaster & Associates, Inc., 212 Waterford Square, Suite 300, Madison, Mississippi.
