Background
The Mississippi Forensic Laboratory (MSFL) is seeking to purchase KDL Solutions ALERRT training equipment kits and accessories as defined in state law.
This procurement is aimed at enhancing the training capabilities of law enforcement officers, specifically for active shooter scenarios.

Work Details
The MSFL intends to procure the following items:
1. ALERRT Level I Kits and accessories - Quantity: 2
2. ERASE (Add-On) - Quantity: 1

The KDL Solution ALERRT Training Kits include Glock 17T training pistols, AR-15 platform rifle uppers, protective equipment, and all components necessary for conducting Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) and ERASE active shooter response programs.
The kit is designed to meet nationally recognized training standards and safety protocols.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed upon approval of the sole source request, with an estimated cost of $181,710.82.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to the Mississippi Forensic Laboratory located in Jackson, MS.

Bidder Requirements
This is a sole source procurement; no other companies produce training kits or expendable resupply kits that meet the specific needs of the ALERRT active shooter training program.
Bidders must demonstrate that they can provide equivalent products if contesting the sole source designation.
