Slate Captain Services RFP Solicitation

Background
Mississippi University for Women (MUW) is a publicly supported institution of higher education accredited to award bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. MUW enrolls approximately 2,300 students and operates on a semester system. The Office of Resources Management at MUW is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to seek qualified vendors for part-time Slate Captain services to support and optimize MUW’s Slate CRM environment. This engagement aims to function as staff augmentation rather than a traditional consulting role.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a dedicated Slate Captain for a standard service level of 20 hours per week for one year, with an option to renew annually up to five years. The services include:

- Day-to-day Slate configuration and administration
- Development and maintenance of workflows, forms, queries, and automation
- Support for admissions and recruitment processes
- Troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Data integrity enforcement
- Reporting and dashboards for enrollment management
- Development of communication plans
- Collaboration with MUW staff on process improvements
- Knowledge transfer and training.

The vendor must demonstrate extensive experience supporting Slate CRM in higher education and must be licensed in the State of Mississippi.

Period of Performance
The contract will begin upon receipt of all required approvals, estimated to be April 15, 2026, and will last for one year with the option to renew annually up to five years.

Place of Performance
The services will primarily be performed remotely as the individual assigned as the Slate Captain is not expected to be embedded on campus.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be a Technolutions Slate Platinum Partner at the time of proposal submission, licensed in the State of Mississippi, and demonstrate experience in supporting Slate CRM in higher education. Compliance with MUW policies, FERPA, and applicable state and federal regulations is required.
