Sealed Bids Solicitation for Jones County Junior College Project

Background
Jones County Junior College is issuing a solicitation for sealed bids for the 2026 Roofing Program project. Work Details
The contract involves the roofing program, which includes all necessary construction, repair, and maintenance work related to roofing at Jones County Junior College. Qualified Prime (General) Contractors, Subcontractors, and Material Suppliers are invited to submit bids. Plans and specifications can be obtained from Griffin Architecture or through their website.

Bids must be submitted in duplicate using the provided proposal forms and must include Proposal Security in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. All bids exceeding $50,000 must comply with the Mississippi Contractors Act of 1985 by securing a Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of Contractors.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by April 21, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Jones County Junior College located at Hutcheson Hubbard Administration Building.

Bidder Requirements
