Sealed Bids for Distribution System Improvements Construction

Background
The Troy Water Association, located in Pontotoc, MS, is seeking sealed bids for the construction of system improvements under Contract C for the distribution system.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the water distribution infrastructure in the area, which is essential for providing reliable water services to the community. This project is expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the ARPA Rural Water Associations Infrastructure Grant (RWAIG).

Work Details
The project consists of constructing new waterlines along with necessary appurtenances.

Bidders are required to submit a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an accepted Surety, or a certified check/bank draft payable to the Troy Water Association, amounting to five percent (5%) of the total bid.

All bids must be marked 'SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS – CONTRACT C – DISTRIBUTION IMPROVEMENTS' on the outside of the envelope. Bids exceeding $50,000 must include the contractor’s current certificate of responsibility number on the envelope.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified timeframe following the bid opening on March 6th, 2025.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place at various locations within Pontotoc, MS as determined by the project specifications.
