Background
The Board of Supervisors of Bolivar County, Mississippi is issuing a sealed bid solicitation for the construction of a bridge and approaches on Laughlin Road as part of the Local System Bridge Program (LSBP) Project No. LSBP-06(28).
This project aims to enhance local infrastructure and improve transportation within the county.

- Mobilization: 1 LS
- Clearing and Grubbing: 1 LS
- Removal of Precast Bridge at STA 2+99.77: 1 UN
- Removal of Pipe (All Sizes): 233 LF
- Unclassified Excavation (F.M.): 674 CY
- Borrow Excavation (Contractor Furnished, Class 9): 560 CY
- Crushed Stone, Size #610: 818 TON
- Reinforced Concrete Pipes (18” Class III): 120 LF; (30” Class III): 56 LF
- Right-of-Way Markers (Type II): 4 EA
- Maintenance of Traffic: 1 LS
- Erosion Control Items including Commercial Fertilizer, Seeding, Vegetative Materials for Mulch, Temporary Silt Fence, Wattles, Loose Riprap, and Geotextile Under Riprap.
- Bridge Items including Test Piles, Prestressed Concrete Piling, Bridge Concrete Class A, Reinforcement Steel, and various sizes of Precast Concrete Slab Units.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be completed within 120 working days from the start date.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Bolivar County Courthouse Annex located at 200 South Court Street, Cleveland, Mississippi.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount made payable to Bolivar County and the State of Mississippi.
The Board will ensure that minority business enterprises have full opportunity to submit bids without discrimination based on race, color, or national origin.
