Request for Bids: Delivery and Installation of ADA Compliant Floating Docks with Kayak Launch

Background
The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks is dedicated to conserving and enhancing Mississippi’s wildlife, fisheries, and parks while providing quality outdoor recreation.
This solicitation aims to procure up to six (6) ADA Compliant Floating Docks with Kayak Launch to improve accessibility at various state parks.

Work Details
The contract involves the delivery and installation of up to six (6) ADA Compliant Floating Docks with Kayak Launch. The specifications include:
- Each dock must be 10' x 13' and include a kayak launch with a bench.
- Docks should have aluminum handrails and a 4' x 16' ADA gangway with a transition plate.
- The floating dock system must be modular, made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), ensuring UV resistance, slip resistance, and durability in freshwater environments.
- A 10-year manufacturer’s warranty is required on all dock sections and hardware.
- The docks must be manufactured by a company with at least 15 years of experience in rotationally molded floating dock systems made in the USA.
- Coupler systems must allow for movement due to seasonal water fluctuations and have a minimum connection strength of 2,000 lbs per coupler.
- Flotation capacity should be at least 62.5 lbs per square foot of dock.

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance for this contract is from June 9, 2025, to June 8, 2026.

Docks are to be delivered and installed at the following locations:
- Roosevelt State Park (2149 HWY 13 South, Morton, MS)
- Percy Quin State Park (2036 Percy Quin Drive, McComb, MS)
- Paul B Johnson State Park (319 Geiger Lake Road, Hattiesburg, MS)
- Trace State Park (2139 Faulkner Road, Belden MS).

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must ensure they are registered to do business in Mississippi as prescribed by law. They must also certify that they are not currently debarred from submitting bids for contracts issued by any political subdivision or agency of the State of Mississippi.
