Professional Testing Services Needed for Mississippi Insurance Licensing and Bail Bonds

Background
The Mississippi Insurance Department (MID) is seeking proposals from qualified professional testing organizations to administer license examinations for insurance agents, insurance adjusters, and bail bondsmen. The goal is to ensure that applicants are tested for minimum competency before entering the insurance or bail bonding business.

The contract will be for a one-year term starting July 1, 2025, with the possibility of renewal for up to three additional years.

Work Details
The selected contractor will provide the following services:
1. License administrative services including the creation of valid and legally defensible examinations for insurance producer, insurance adjuster, and bail agent licensees.
2. Conduct examinations in a proctored environment and enter examination results into MID's computer system.
3. Develop examination questions based on Mississippi Pre-licensing Education materials and relevant statutes.
4. Establish at least six permanent test centers across Mississippi, offering exams five days a week including Saturdays.
5. Provide online proctored examination options and ensure compliance with ADA regulations during administration.
6. Score examinations and report results to MID within two working days of each exam date, along with monthly statistical reports on examinee performance.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, and will last for one year with options for renewal up to three additional years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed throughout the state of Mississippi at designated test centers.
