Professional Development and Job-Embedded Instructional Services for Teacher and Student Achievement

Background
The South Delta School District is seeking proposals for Professional Development and Job-Embedded Instructional Services aimed at enhancing teacher effectiveness and improving student academic achievement, specifically in grades 6-12 English Language Arts.

The district's mission is to provide quality education and support to its instructional staff through research-based practices aligned with the Mississippi College and Career Readiness Standards (MCCRS).

Work Details
Vendors will provide Professional Development and Job-Embedded Instructional Services that include:
- Teaching strategies focusing on active learning, higher-level thinking, knowledge transfer, and data analysis;
- Job-embedded professional learning including coaching on instructional techniques, differentiated learning, data use for instruction, lesson planning, and resource utilization;
- Collaboration with school leadership teams to assess instructional practices;
- Individual, small group, and large group professional learning sessions;
- Coaching on data-driven instruction to implement Response to Intervention strategies.

All services must adhere to evidence-based best practices.

Period of Performance
Services may commence immediately upon receipt of a signed contract and must be completed by May 8, 2026.

Invoices are due by May 15, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the South Delta School District located at 106 Athletic Drive, Rolling Fork, MS 39159.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must demonstrate financial stability and adequate staffing for program management. They are required to maintain comprehensive general liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $1 million.

Additionally, they must comply with all applicable federal and state laws including civil rights laws. Background checks may be required for staff involved in the project.
