Background
The Hancock County Board of Supervisors is issuing a solicitation for the construction of the McLeod Park Bulkhead Project - Phase 1. This project aims to enhance the infrastructure at McLeod Park, contributing to the overall mission of improving public facilities in Hancock County, Mississippi.

Work Details
The project includes the installation of approximately 300 feet of new steel bulkhead system with helical anchoring and concrete sheet pile caps, along with other miscellaneous work at McLeod Park.

The contractor is responsible for performing all work and providing all necessary labor, equipment, and materials as specified in the contract documents.

Period of Performance
The contractor will commence work within 10 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed.

Final completion of the project is expected within 75 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date unless extended by contract documents.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi Law and possess a current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors.

Bids must include this certificate number on the sealed envelope or electronic submission. Additionally, each bidder must submit a Bid Bond equal to 5% of their bid amount and will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each amounting to 100% of the contract value.
