Pre-Bid Meeting Announcement for Park and Recreation Project

Background
The City of Tupelo, through its Department of Parks and Recreation, is issuing a solicitation for bids on the Veterans Park Playground project.
The goal of this contract is to enhance recreational facilities in the community, aligning with the agency's mission to provide quality parks and recreational opportunities for residents.

Work Details
The project involves construction activities related to the Veterans Park Playground.
Bids must comply with the Mississippi Contractors Act of 1985, which requires a Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of Contractors for projects exceeding $50,000.
All bids over $5,000 must include a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the bid amount.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities.

Period of Performance
Bids are due by 2:00 PM on December 4th, 2024, and must remain valid for a period of sixty (60) days following the bid opening.

The work will be performed at Veterans Park, located in Tupelo, Mississippi.
