Pre-Bid Conference for Water and Sewer Project - July 23, 2025

Background
The Diamondhead Water and Sewer District is issuing a contract for the remediation and correction of the existing elevated water storage tank. The mission of the District is to ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of water and sewer services in the area. The goal of this contract is to address previously defective paint on the exterior of the 500,000-gallon pedesphere style elevated water storage tank, ensuring it meets safety and aesthetic standards.

Work Details
The project work includes:
- Cleaning the existing tank
- Surface preparation
- Painting the tank
- Site restoration
- Furnishing all necessary equipment required to complete, test, and make ready for use by the Owner all structures, equipment, and systems as specified in the Contract Documents.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be performed following the bid award, with specific timelines outlined in the contract documents.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Diamondhead Water and Sewer District office located at 4425 Park Ten Drive, Diamondhead, Mississippi 39525.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a Bid Security amounting to not less than five percent (5%) of their bid. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond equal to 100% of the Contract amount are required from the successful bidder. Bidders must also comply with all instructions outlined in the Instructions to Bidders.
